Right at Home of Colorado Springs is a family-owned and operated, home health agency serving the Colorado Springs area. The Colorado Springs office is a franchise of Right at Home Inc., a senior home care and staffing company providing care since 1995.
We offer Companions, Certified Nursing Aides (CNA's), Home Health Aids (HHA's) and Skilled Nursing Care to seniors and other people in need of in-home care and assistance. Services are provided for as little as 2 hours a day up to 24 X 7 care, and live-in services. We also offer bathing visits for those clients with limited hands-on care needs.

Our Homecare Services:
Our Certified Home Health Aides and CNA's can provide hands-on personal care assistance, including:
- Assistance with personal hygiene (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding; mouth, skin and hair care)
- Assistance with walking, getting in and out of bed, and use of a wheelchair
- Taking vital signs
- Range of motion exercises
- Measuring and recording fluid & food intake
- Dressing changes
- Applying ointments and topical medications
Our Aides can provide the following types of non-medical "companion" services:
- Meal preparation
- Medication reminders
- Laundry/light housekeeping
- Errands & shopping
- Escorted transportation to doctor appointments
- Companionship & socialization activities
- Exercise reminders

Quality Care
- Our caregivers are tested, trained, compassionate, friendly and caring.
- Our professional staff has significant experience in the clinical, emotional and cognitive needs of our clients.
- Prior to starting service, our Client Care Coordinator or Vice President consults with the new client and their family members either in their residence or in a healthcare facility.
- As part of this consultation, we develop a customized home care plan that addresses the client's specific home care needs.
- Once the care plan is developed, we identify a caregiver from our staff who we believe is most suited to care for the client, and can best meet the client's needs.
- Our goal is to maintain a consistent caregiver for each client. This allows the caregiver to become very knowledgeable of the client's needs and helps build a good relationship between the client and the caregiver.
Flexibility and Communication
- As the client's needs change, so can our services.
- Our Client Care Coordinator and our Scheduling Coordinator maintain an ongoing communication with our clients, their family members and our assigned caregivers to discuss the care plan, the progress of the client, and to determine if any changes are recommended.
- The types of tasks we perform as part of our weekly care plan and the schedule of our caregiving services, can change, based on the changing needs of the client.
Safety and Security
- All our caregivers are employees of Right at Home; not independent contractors.
- Our caregivers are thoroughly screened prior to hiring, including a full criminal background check, drug testing, reference checks, employment eligibility verification, and a comprehensive competency test.
- We provide ongoing training of our caregivers.
- Our employees are bonded and covered by Professional Liability and Workers Comp insurance.
