Home Health Aide (HHA) - Colorado Springs

Be able to assist with bathing, skin care, feeding, Catheter and Colostomy care, and any personal hygiene. Must be able to transfer up to 50% using a gait belt or other method. Can confidently measure intake and outtake, assist with Glucose testing, measure and prepare diets and take vital signs. A Home Health Aid will also assist with meal preparation, Medicine reminders, shopping and errands, transportation when needed, household cleaning and companionship. Other duties may be assigned to that specific client. You must have your High School diploma or GED, six months experience as a Home Health Aid in health care, a social security card, valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile for work to go to and from shifts. Shifts are anywhere from 2 to 12 hours
